This Saturdays friendly against Mexico U19 has been put back to 7:30pm kick-off. This is to allow the Ports players some additional recovery time following their return from Azerbaijan on Friday. Admission is half-price with adults £5.
The squad flew out to Azerbaijan yesterday (Tues) for their 2nd round 2nd leg Europa League qualifier against Qarabag. The match is scheduled to take place on Thursday with Qarabag holding a 2-1 advantage. The Ports will be without leading scorer Richard Lecky who has scored in each of the 3 European games so far. Its a big blow for the Ports, but they will take heart from their magnificant away performance in Riga where they defeated FK Skonto 1-nil.
