Braniff Makes International Debut

Braniff, Baker and Hunter Clean Up Player of Year Awards 2009-10

Kevin Braniff was the popular choice amongst the various supporters clubs as the Player of the Year for 2009-10.  Only Andy Hunter prevented Braniff from making it a clean sweep on the night with young Jordan Baker the overwealming choice as Young Player of the Year.

McCutcheon Released

Portadown confirmed today that they would not be extending striker Gary McCutcheon's current contract with the club.  The club would like to wish Gary all the best in the future and thank him for his valuable contribution to Portadown FC over the last few years.

Portadown put up a great battle against Linfield, but lost narrowly in a sun drenched cup final at Windsor Park today.  The Ports were 2-nil down after only 9 minutes as the blues flew out of the blocks and scored two quickfire goals through Thompson and Lowry.
